歸去來兮!

My first Sloan Senate meeting

今天中午第一次參加了一二年級全體的Senate Meeting, 雖然也沒怎樣, 可是覺得好恐怖!!! 全場怎麼只有我一個外國人啊?! 雖然本來自己就知道Senate裡面的internationals是絕對少數, 可是也不用到這種程度吧?! 也許是其他的internationals今天都不去開會, 但反正就是我在裡面很挫, 哈哈~ 好! 就讓我本人在Senate裡面為國際學生爭一口氣好了!!!

我們的Senate是由許多不同的委員會 (committee) 組成, 每個Senator可以照自己的興趣跟抱負加入不同的委員會為民服務. 我現在有興趣的是Career Development Committee跟Activities Committee, 也有興趣作其中一個的委員長, 拚了!!! 我知道現在Act Comm的Patrick跟Thor很想要我, 但是Act Comm跟所有社團的社長需要有密切的聯絡, 因為我們需要approve經費之類的, then I'm not that sure about it... 要趕快做決定呢Roxy!

我與我的西班牙大哥喬帝


想寫寫關於我大哥的事情想很久了, 直到現在finance算不出來才開始動筆, 哈~ 對呀親愛的大家, 我在MIT Sloan是有一個大哥的喔 -- Jordi de los Pinos, 是個超級好笑, 從Barcelona來的西班牙人. 其實他已經在San Diego工作很久了, 所以英文已經超級罩的了. 我大嫂Jenny是巴西人, 他們是在巴黎認識, 然後經過一番家庭革命之後終於修成正果的, 他們兩個簡直就是絕配, 都非常的活潑跟照顧人, 在無厘頭的外表下又很顧家顧對方, 簡直就是我心目中理想的配對. :)

這兩個多星期以來, 雖然本人很驕傲的說自己進步很多, 但難免還是有軟掉的時候. 儘管我大哥根本不知道發生了什麼事, 因為我不可能去影響他跟Ted的好兄弟關係, 但是他對我非常的支持, 常常說一些很好笑的屁話鼓勵我, 但有一次他的屁話都能把我感動到哭, 真是神奇的大哥. 現在放的這首歌是我大哥送我的, 他說這是他最喜歡的歌, 陪他度過很多歲月中的低潮, 而且唱的人剛好也叫Rosana, 跟我的西班牙名字一樣. Sin Miedo的意思就是No Fear, 大哥要我不論發生什麼事都不可以看低自己 (Are you kidding me?! You're my hottest little sis. There's nothing you should feel bad about yourself, cuz you're God daxn HOT!!! -- 這是什麼鬼邏輯?! XD~), 還特地把歌詞翻譯成英文給我, 就在這裡跟大家分享囉!
